United Therapeutics commissioned the most sustainable building of its kind, and wanted to educate its inhabitants and involve a broader audience.
An engaging showcase of information should not only inform visitors but also inspire inhabitants to contribute to energy-saving efforts.
In a sustainable building, the human factor is the hardest variable to control. Humans need to be incentivized in order to participate in sustainability goals.
The Unisphere is a digital, physical, artistic and informational experience that inspires and educates the building’s inhabitants.
In the atrium, the Energy Wheel tracks the building's energy performance, inspiring inhabitants to play their part. Additional installations allow visitors to learn about the building systems that make the project a landmark in sustainability.
Building inhabitants not only learn about but also become an integral part of their own environment.
These installations attract talent, incentivize building inhabitants, inspire other companies to adopt the same sustainability practices and ideals, and generate positive PR for United Therapeutics on the whole.
